Every time I meet a Whovian and they find out that Donna was my favourite recent companion they’re surprised.  Don’t know why :P

I prefer Doctor companions who aren’t romantically attached to the Doctor because then we’re not caught up in the weird, romantic tension.  They’re able to really enjoy their friendship.  Besides, apart from being terribly hilarious, Donna knows how to put the Doctor in his place xD
